Is there a way? schedule library

Is there a way to use (save or copy and paste or some other way) what you have created in schedule library for one session, for another session or route. I find it very tedious having to go through the same motions in schedule library after you have tweaked a route. Can someone help:'(?
Thanks

Saving for a different route would be a no unless it is the same route with a different name. But if you edit session, then select route layer from the layer tab, you can tweak the route and then save both or you edit session and tweak the route and save as a different name. The latter would create a new copy of the route with the session.

Sorry mate! I beg to differ.

Try a test case. Open up one of your known routes that has a session set up with Schedule Library showing all your driver commands.

Go to Main menu and click on Edit Session / DON'T edit Schedule Library, BUT right-click 'Schedule Library' / then click 'Copy'.

Exit the route completely.

Now either start a new route or open up the route you want the driver commands applied to.

Once the route is open, go to the Main Menu again, click on Edit Session / when the 'Edit Session' box opens, right-click anywhere within the box under the installed rules,... and click Paste.

Schedule Library will now appear in your new route including all the driver commands that were in your previous route. Any that you don't want can now be deleted.

Cheers,
Roy

I thought I spelt it out step by step for you. If you are not familiar with 'Copy & Paste' ......

When you right-click 'Schedule Library' it encapsulates everything within 'Schedule Library' and opens a box, select COPY and then close the route.

Open your new route and follow same procedure, BUT instead of COPYING, you will PASTE into the new Edit Session Box.

It can't be any simpler.

Cheers,
Roy

PS: By the way, it will only work if you already have a Schedule Library set up with the driver commands in your initial route. If it's empty, it'll produce nothing.

EDIT: This works on Windows computers,... I don't know so much about MAC.

Thanks for that, was just about to tear my hair out at having to recreate a 15 - 20 command chain schedule from one session to another. Shame N3V didn't conceive of an easier way to do it though, i.e, have any schedule for the layout saved at the route level and able to be called up into any session you are creating.

Hello Roy,

Is the following possible ?

In a session - a driver setup has been made. The driver with the specific locomotive has received several commands.

Is there a way to copy/paste all those commands into a schedule library instead of making a schedule library ( with specific name ) and adding the commands one by one?

Kind regards

Kurt
