Schedule Library Update Problems

I'm using Trainz+ w/ Surveyor 2. Suddenly can no longer edit the Schedule Library - I can’t add a schedule, rename a schedule, or save changes to a schedule.
When I rename, the pop-up occurs behind the Trainz screen so cannot be initially seen until moving the main screen. I have to close the Schedule Library, then I see the pop-up to rename, but cannot save to a new name and when I hit the X for exit, Trainz crashes to the desktop. UP to now I've been running 12 trains from the Schedule Library without problems.
Anyone have a solution for this?

There's no real solution. It's already been reported and N3V QA Team has confirmed it as a bug. Hopefully, this will be fixed in the next release. In case you are wondering, there's no ETA on that.

Set up a second install and don't maximize the Schedule Library. I replicated my data and placed that on a second hard drive and set up a new copy of the program. That works fine while the original one is stuffed.

I was hoping that the issue was something stupid such as an entry in a text config file that tracks windows sizes and positions. There's one of those files but no references to this!

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Thanks again for your earlier reply. I thought I understood, but looking for some clarification. I understand setting up a second install. Can you explain the other steps. How did you replicate the data? If I load the current build in the second installation, won't it bring the same schedule library problem. I'm prepared to re-enter the schedule library, but need to keep the rest of the build without manually re-entering.

I copied my complete Data-folder to another hard disk. You can also copy to another location and rename the folder to something else such as TRS22_Data.

I then installed a 2nd copy of TRS22 and used that for my editing and it worked, and I've made sure I didn't maximize the window.

Thanks again. I'm still learning Trainz, so one more question. After installing a second copy of TRS22, did you then bring in the Data folder and the window was not maximized in the second install?

Hi JCitron. Your help much appreciated. Sorry to bug you again. I have followed your suggestion but it hasn't solved the issue. Maybe I'm not doing correctly.
I installed a 2nd copy of TRS22. I made a backup of the Data folder. I also copied it to another location and renamed it. I then specified the new name/location in Launcher under settings for the Local Data Folder. (specified the latest Build so as not to lose it). Started Trainz, my route/session came up ok, but the Schedule Library is still expanded. I cannot edit it, but at least the program doesn't crash! I tried a second time. New TRS Install. Then imported the Data folder using instructions in "Help: Moving Content" from TrainzOnline - not sure that was really any different process). Same result unfortunately. Am I following the process you used, or missing something? If I don't specify the latest build reference, then I figure I lose my data?

You did it correctly. Unfortunately, for some reason this didn't work for you. Maybe I was lucky. :-(
