Is there a Assest that will unload everthing on a freight car? or maybe a command? Some assests will only unload a few things, tried modifying one to unload more, could not get it to work correct. Thanks.

InstantLoad <kuid2:67585:1017:2>

and

InstantUnload <kuid2:67585:1021:2>

do the trick for me in 12. Driver commands. They will load/unload the default load, whatever it is, no choice available.

They will not load/unload cars that are not loadable.

:B~)

DAP has a rule "<kuid:32711:100372> Unload at Trigger Rule", just be aware that is will also unload locomotives if they have anything in them.

Instant Unload works perfectly. It unloads any load in any pieces of rolling stock on the entire train. It does NOT unload locomotives which is good in most situations.

If you wish to unload a single car, my driver command "InstantUnloadAtFocus" will do that. It goes through all the queues and destroys all products.

messed with it a little today, before I started a back up of my files, so didnt get play around much with it. Think I like the ones that load random stuff on the cars.

What!? You have an Instant Unload At Focus too!? By the way, I love your Instant Load At Focus. I was so happy to see that it kind of did what I wanted it to do. However, I really wanted an instant load that loaded ALL the cars on a consist instead of just one individual car. It is a little tedious when you want to load more than a few cars at once with your command. But otherwise, I love it!

If the cars have different queue/product setups in Surveyor, then loading all
cars versus each car is really a different proposition. I think the command that loads all cars in a train loads whatever product it sees first. You have to do more setup in Surveyor to get what you want, and lose flexibility in driver. TANE now allows car manipulation in Driver, but my design center was for TS12 users.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the command.

I was thinking more along the lines of whatever product(s) could be loaded onto a consist and the command would look at all the cars on a train and show you what you can load into all compatible cars. I think it would also be nice if it followed the commodity picker for when you don't want certain cars loaded with a product or if you want them loaded with a different one.

I suppose such a command could be written, but the menus would cover whole screens, and the user would still have to go through selections for each car anyway. Just set the first product in the first queue for each vehicle, and the instant load command mentioned earlier will load the train.

In the end, I am just loading all the trains myself. I wanted a command like the one above for trains being generated from portals by the way. Your command doesn't work in this situation because you need to load cars that do not exist yet.

If you place a trackmark on the rail farther than the length of the train from the portal, you can use a drive to trackmark command with a pause and then instant load.

I thought of doing that but the rolling stock will not be loaded with what loads I want, that is the problem I have. I will have all trains go to a trackmark, wait for 5 min, then proceed.

You don't need a trackmark or delay for Instant load to work. I have always just used it as the first command for Portal trains and it loads as soon as it is clear to do so.
The only way to get the loads you want is to setup the rollingstock beforehand with the loads first in the queues. this means cloning and naming them for the session.
Cheers,
Mike
