Well because I wanted to get some stuff from K&L Trainz but y'know I got some folks around me who don't trust it for some odd reason.
They must be those psycho religious fellas who see anything that isn't the bible as a "sin"
or worse...

THEY'RE AMISH!!!! RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!

I've bought two locos from K&L. The SP MT-4 and the CPR T1A Selkirk. I do plan on buying either the Niagara or another SP steamer next.

But also, it's the whole thing around Debit and Credit card info @marmalade32 that's the real worry (the whole the info can be stolen and all that stuff.)
How else are they going to get your money? Send them a check and wait eleven weeks before it's cashed before you receive the download link?

Seriously, if you are concerned, use a service such as PayPal to isolate your account from online vendors. You will need to provide bank account information as well as your debit and or credit card information. PayPal acts as the intermediary and then collects funds from your account.

The alternative is to not buy anything on the web and not bother to ask us for answers.

I mean I am going to give it a shot, given many have talked about how good and reliable K&L's stuff is, I think on Google Review's it's got a 5/5 rating.
Credit cards are more secure than Debit cards, Wise debit/credit card is about the most secure I've come across. https://wise.com/ just stick a small amount in the account, that limits your exposure, they are a bit paranoid about security as well.

Cheerio John

I've never had any trouble from them either. Actually, I've never had any trouble with K&L, TF or JR. We're lucky to have so many suppliers for Trainz assets, there's even more that I haven't mentioned.

Regarding the K&L web pages, I enjoy the extra effort they take to offer multiple versions that you can choose from depending on what version of Trainz you are running the asset on.

Are you a kid who needs your parent's permission before buying anything online including video game content? Do your parents not trust putting their credit card online? Would a prepaid card work on K&L? Like one you can buy in a store. A lot of gift cards only work for US merchants so they probably wouldn't work at N3V store, but K&L is US based. But it's hit or miss if a gift card like Vanilla Visa will work on a website because the card companies block a lot of sites from gift cards because of fraud prevention. There's also Netspend and other reloadable cards that you get in the mail with your name on them.

No, I am an adult.

If you have a bank card (Debit/Credit) that has the ability to 'lock' it from an app on your phone, that would be the safest way to go if you are so concerned about it.
