Is it possible to adjust the height of scenery objects in .01 increments?

Routelayer Ordinaire...
Hi All,

Just a quick question: is there any way to adjust the height of a scenery object in increments of .01? I know you can rotate some objects with that precision but I am not sure how to do this for an object's height and/or if this is even possible. It would really come in handy for me at this moment in time...

Input as always, is appreciated!

hi gisa,,,,,,,,I tried but no luck, on the other hand,,,,use the topology tab and use a small circle with a slow rate of lift, place it on the object and slowly move mouse.

I could adjust the ground by .01 meter increments but yeah, rather than do that, I thought it might be possible to do it via the object itself...

try holding the shift key when adjusting the height. I'm not sure if it does .01 increments but it allows for more precision when adjusting.

A nice thought, PerRock, but it doesn't work. Scenery objects still adjust by 0.10 meters, shift key or no shift key.

Not exactly on height, but I found this out a couple of minutes ago (after two years with TRS!). Have you ever placed some rusted cars beside the track and thought it might have been even better if they could look as if they were involved in some crash! Now you can!

After placing the object, select the rotate tool, then hold down SHIFT while adjusting the object. This sets the ROLL direction of the object, so your rusty cars can now turn turtle!
