I have a layout (using TRS2004) with a 4 platform terminus.
I have set up 2 AI trains to drive to platforms 1 and 4, unload and the locos will then uncouple from the 3 carriages of each of the consists.
2 more locos are triggered to drive to trackmarks on lines 1 and 4 which are placed level with the rear of last carriage. Thes locos are programmed to couple at the trackmarks, and then drive to their outer destinations, leaving the original locos to take the place of the second locos which were waiting in sidings to be triggered in their turn, and so on ad infinitum.
The loco which goes to couple on line 1 works perfectly, as planned.
However, the loco which goes to platform 4 (Alistair driving!) stops just short of the trackmark and will not couple. The radio message says that Alistair is waiting for access!
It doesn't make any difference when I try moving the trackmark slightly, it just will not couple!
I should add that the setups on each of the two lines is identical, and there are no connecting points (turnouts) at the moment, and signals are a very long way from the station
I know that the story about Alistair being a hopeless driver is just a joke, but can anyone make any suggestions which I could try?
