I know the Iportal server isn't in the best of conditions, but I wanted to see how many people we could get together for a meet sometime in the next month. The reason I say that, is because I'm still working on my yard, and don't know when exactly It'l be done. I'll say what I was thinking though.
To make life somewhat easy on those who participate without a firstclass ticket, We could have a limit of 5 DLC locomotives. All rolling stock would have to be built in. All products shipped between us would be built in product, like general goods, oil, or grain or lumber. No LARS, even though it's awsome to have, it's hard because we would all have to spend a week downloading LARS cars. Wether or not we each pick a specific rail company would be decided once we are getting ready. But should we decide on individual companys, I dibs CN
. My yard will be a fairly high capacity hump yard once complete, so I will probably sit myself in the middle of all the cars. I will have the ability to load most, if not all, built in products. However, I wouldn't be receiving any, as I won't use any of it.
Summary of ideas:
- 5 max DLC locomotives
- Only built in railcars
- Only built in products
- Possibly each an individual company
- Myself in the middle of everything
depending on how many people we get will help figure out how this will work. I can't garentee god-like speed on my end, because I always use cab-mod, which we all know takes more time than DCC.
