Iportal Session

Is there anywhere to find others who would like to play an iportal session together? Sometime I find people on #trains but its very rare. If anyone would like to run a session together feel free to contact me.. we can use the Tidewater route or download / create one.

Me, danny5 and ct_krogen iportal almost every day. Contact them for their iportal id. Mine is BNSF uppercase. We mostly use North American Rollingstock.

Oh, excellent.. do you have a list / file / layout of the rolling stock and industry you guys use? I'd really like to join in on the fun.

If anyone new to iportal would like to run i'd be happy to teach you. Usually with in 10 minutes we can be sending consists back and forth. Add me to your buddy list in Trainz with id xcandiottix. I'm running 2009.

I'd very much like to iportal myself but i can't even figure out how to go from one portal to the other on the iportal set on the north and south series. Lots of help appreciated on how to set this up as well as using iportal online.

To iportal you need two iportals. Giving them enought entrence to handle the size of train you want to iportal.(50 cars with engines) In the object tab click on the ? butten in the lower right coner,click on the iportal, give them a name,give your iportals a ID,(something short in lower case) Now to send a train from one iportal to another.In the iportal you drive your train to you want to put in user ID ( your trainz user name),in dest. put in the iportal of the 2nd Iportal ID. Now you should be getting trains from iportal 1 to iportal 2.
This same princible works for sending trains to other people.

I use IPortal, to send the same trains to different seperate routes on my own PC ... then the same train emerges on the new route opened up.

im not a big fan of newer trainz i like the 06 iportal better
