Invisible Track + No Track Sounds in TS2009?

Hey everyone,

I am currently making a "railfanning" route similar to the Train Chase routes by abarten. I have laid a basic loop of track in which the trains will run over and I am about to lay some invisible track for cars to drive over. I was wondering if it's possible to disable the clickety clack track sounds for the invisble track, or even replace it with road sounds, so cars, boats, and planes don't sound like locomotives when driving. Does anybody know of any addons for TS2009 that will do this?

This is not the best way as it disables the sound for all tracks in Trainz.

The better way is to add the tag

disable-extra-track-sounds 1

into the config.txt of the track

Anywhere in the config file, as long as it's a new line. Trainz sorts it out.

Hmm this doesn't seem to work for me. I opened up the config file and entered this line at the bottom of the text document:

disable-extra-track-sounds 1

Am I doing something wrong?
