Just attach invisible track to it. The track it uses changes to whatever track you connect it to.thank you for the help....i was hoping for a portal that is on invisable track...if i am not mistaken the portal basic has track on it...which will work for the time being, but i was hoping to not see the track is all.

Have you tried the re-rail portals? It may make a difference.
Also, make sure you have given it some commands, as without commands it may roll back into the portal.

This is what I would do: Click the "Edit Properties" icon then click on the portal. Set the Tanker ship as the first consist, and add a driver. Give it some commands too. Set the portal so it produces the train you have selected every so often, 10 to 15 minutes maybe. Try getting another portal for trains going out of the map, and set that one to consume trains. Give the trains a command like: go to "dockside 1" (a trackmark), go to portal 2 (the portal that consumes trains).does not matter which season/route you try to do it on....i am using Ianz Amanda Stewart Tanker which is kuid2:60238:9518:2 on the download station.
Like I said I have tested it on just a blank baseboard with a portal and some track. Using the emit train now rule, as soon as it becomes visible in the portal it derails. I have not tried it yet without the emit train now rule but i can not imagine any diffrent result.
