Any one know how to get read of this past error

I don't know what is causing the error but you are running XP sp2 and IE6, I would strongly suggest that you install sp3 and IE7, or better yet Firefox or some other browser, then if the error showing in the weather toolbar plugin is still there get rid of it and see if the error goes away.

Could I ask just what this has to do with trainz ??

Cheers David

My guess is if there's something wrong with that Trainz-related site that causes certain browsers to crash. But it opened just fine for me in Firefox. You gave what was probably the best possible advice - ditch IE and use Firefox.

alright will do thanks

Whatever happened would probably be specific to your computer rather then IE6. (No crash here with my IE6 on XP SP3.) One little thought, bitmap files (.bmp) really aren't the best format to use on web pages. They don't really have much in the way of compression so waste a lot more space then a .jpg file would. Because of that bitmap I would have suspected Quicktime was crashing, but it didn't seem like my IE needed Quicktime to load it. (I know IE used to require Quicktime or another plug-in to be able to view bitmap files, but that was a long time ago.)
