"Image cannot be loaded from passed link"

I'm trying to post some screenshots to the Canadian thread, however, every time I try to paste the Trainz Gallery link and insert the image, I get the error message: "Image cannot be loaded from passed link". Does anybody here know why this is happening?

What is the URL of the image you are trying to add?

When you open the image on the Gallery, don't copy the address from the browser bar... right click and choose "Copy link address" from the menu, then in the forum select "Insert Image".
That should work.

I've been having the same problem all day along with the train portal gallery just being extremely unworking in general with extremely long load times or no loading at all. I ended up having to link photos from a fandom wiki instead, except they only show up as grey squares on the post and have to opened up in a new tab to view. It seems like this entire situation could be avoided if the site simply let you upload files directly from your computer instead of going thru all this unnecessary hardship.
