Okay,
It turns out, I uninstalled my TRS2006 and re-installed, without my local folder.
I need to know, if I get the payware engine that Jointed Rail gave me, can I transfer it to TS2009 when I get it.

Forget it!
I've had it with this retarded game.
Once again it has mysteriously come back from the dead after I deleted the local folder, uninstalled the game!
I still get 2 fatal errors.

I love how I finally get a chance to get a payware engine for free and it just quits on me. What did I ever do to deserve this?!

Does anybody know what this is?

Fatal Error,
0055C3C9 in Program Files/Auran/TRS2006/bin/trainz.exe

I have found that TRS2006 does not work well with custom content, but TS2009 works vary well with custom content.

once you get your links from us, its a cdp file, it will work in either game or both.

So if I install it into 06..I can later install it into 09.
Okay, My TRS2006 works on a post June 2006 Marias Pass session that I have edited.
It does not work on many other sessions.
If my TRS2006 totals that C30-7, will I be able to get a new one, if it is the same engine? I really want it now, but I don't want to risk losing it later.

Hi Woody

When you uninstalled 06, did you go to Program Files/Auran and manually delete the 06 folder that isn't removed during the uninstall process?

That may be the problem.
I seem to be getting closer to the source of the problem...little by little.
My second post seemed a little furious, my apologies.
We'll see what happens, I can use some routes so this is very strange...
