After that set the filter for faulty = true and get rid of anything you can't fix, then set for missing dependencies and delete all that. If all that fails to fix it try the extended database repair. Trainz has more problems than the average computer game simply because there's a lot more to download and a good percentage of what you download is faulty, best prevention for that is to set the search filter to minimum build = 2.9 before looking for things to download. And don't download 76,000 things from 400 different websites the same day, download one thing at a time and test to make sure it's not going to screw up the game.

If you're running TS2009 SP4, it's probably picked up that you haven't registered it and as a result is not running properly.

To advise on the defrag side, I need to know which operating system you are using. If you've never heard of a defrag, that tells me that one is needed.

I'm beginning to think that anyone resorting to the dreaded multiple exclamation points just might need to consider a different hobby for awhile.

i hate when im on trainz 2009 and it freezes and says "the database bla bla i can't remeber but ya kind of like what could be happening with yours i guess?

I'm sure if someone was to clean his computer up for him and get Trainz running right he would be all for Trainz again. It's pretty sad he will not listen to the help that is given to him or even try for that matter.

This is all too common, Jason.

Sometimes people are all stuck on their problem and put their fingers in their ears rather than listen to what's being said to them.

Perhaps I could start a new business supporting Trainz users. I could travel to their location and fix their computer for a small fee plus travel costs. ;)

im not sure that its just that he wont listen, maybe its just that he doesnt know what to go to on his computer

Very true too, but then again if he asked here in the forums, someone can easily help. Shane among many others including me have posted how-to steps on many basic things such as computer maintenance and various aspects of running Trainz.

Hmmmm does anyone find it kind of strange that MOOse has GOT TO HAVE METROLINK next to his name and then Metrolinklover comes in with a account that was just made and has no registered copy of Trainz and defends MOOse? Not saying anything bad but weird!
