Iguodala Metro

I need some more buildings. Any suggestions as to what? I've downloaded some splines but I see you have buildings that I have searched for but can't find. Would you mind posting just a KUID? I can do the rest because all I need is the name and I can find more.

You need to search dmdrake as the author. Already explained how to find them. For smaller towns DaveSnow did nice store fronts. And theres several authors for houses.

Dave has some stores? Well I'll check them out. Ed would certainly be useful in this situation since he's the subject matter expert in this field but he's gone and we don't know when he'll be back.

Haven't posted any progress in a while so here's a teaser.

Yes I did. It got annoying and I didn't want duplicates because I'd pick the wrong one sometimes but I might just go back to it.

Did you ever work 18 hours on a route and press "Don't Save" ... or have the dreaded "Program Terminated" notice pop up ... or press "Delete Route" instead of "Save" ... When you do those things, you will cry ... and do it all over again, completing 18 hours work, in 3 hours.

I have autosave on. The one that's called "my route - autosave" is the version that is autosaved. The version just called "my route" (which doesn't have autosave written) is the non autosave version.

Well, every time someone posts their opinions on your work, you always say 'You're wrong', 'I can't find any buildings' or 'the railroads did it like that' (even if the railroads did not do it like that)

I'm trying to give constructive comments ... but it looks so repetitive ... the same houses, over and over again.

Dave Snow has many fantastic Storefronts and Older Storefronts, and DMDrake has hundreds of town buildings that are great looking, as do many other fine creators, such as GFisher ... etc ...

JRFolco did a route Cumberland to Connellsville, and his city streets looked as if you could walk right down them, and railfan your Trainz running ... In fact I laid BNSF Invisatrack on the sidewalks and drove a pedestrian around the town, viewing the town and tracks from a pedestrians point of view.

You definitely need to break up the house patterns, it looks like an army post. You're mixing the colors, that's a good start, but if you take my neighborhood for example, although the hole are was developed at the same time and the houses all started out looking the same, most don't look the same. Some people have added floors, or garages or whatever to their homes, some have been torn or burned down and rebuilt in a different style. Also, break away from the straight grid pattern, create some smaller streets and cul de sacs, a vacant lot here and there, anything to break things up a bit.
