Iguodala Metro

They are the siedlunghaus ones, on the DLS search HP Siedlung the 1x8 10x8 and 5x8's are all pre-made the rest you can arrange however.

Those are more modern type tho. Seeing as he is trying to do a loosely based 50s route. They might look weird.

Actually I really can't tell the difference. They look somewhat old to me.

Well going off of History during hte 1960s is when you start seeing the more modern type offices. These are the ones with lots of glass and that modern type feel to it. In the 30s to 50s you have the old mason, stone etc type New York style skyscrapers. So a city with mostly all of dmdrakes models would be more of a 50s route. While the buildings you chose would be a post-modern route.

He was talking about the HP - Siedlung houses...

I don't see anything that would resemble a 1950s downtown on the DLS. Looked up skyscrapers and no items to display. I see office towers but that's about it.

Don't look up skyscraper for 1950s era stuff - they didn't exist back then. Look up author=dmdrake

Which buildings are you talking about under dmdrake? I'm looking at the office buildings and there are only a few. So that means no variety and will kill the realism of the route.

Alright guys, I need to take a break from basically route building. I've got to focus more on my studies with finals less than a month away. I'll do my best to work on it periodically if time and energy permits but I've been on this way too much and it's hurting me. I'm still passing but I really need to buckle down. Thanks for understanding.

We'll have a slew of kuids for you to download, when you return ... I really think all the DMDrake CityScapes are what you are looking for ... they are both single asset buildings, and city block assets that you just plop down trackside.

There aren't that many, only nine are there so that means variety will have to be compromised. And what about the few tall buildings that there are? How should I cope with that? There was more but glassy and modern type office buildings but I downloaded them anyways just in case. Hert to argue against your case that the DS Spline houses killed the variety but how will using the same brick houses repeatedly be variety? I know there's a lot more to choose from but after you use them all then you have to reuse them. Is it because their splines and the exact same and nothing is different?
