Ignore this (just testing image hosting sites)

I wanted to use German site imgbox.com, but I could not get any of its links to work here, so it's postimages.org for now. While it is US-based, AI search describes it as politically non-aligned, so it will have to do.

Yes, it is weird. I mean I got an image uploaded to imgbox OK. I saw the 3 types of link available, copied them and pasted them one at a time into the data entry panel that pops up when you click the "insert image" icon. Each type of link produced the same message of not being able to load the image (or words to that effect). I cannot explain why it worked for you and not for me.

I had none of that trouble with postimages.org. The direct link was clearly labelled, and it worked perfectly on the Forum first time.

Perhaps, as a test, try right click on the image shown after you uploaded it there. Select open image in new tab. Copy the URL on the top, it should have the file extension at the end. Then past that into where you want to insert an image, this thread for example. See if that makes it work. Yes, it is an extra step but see if it goes.

I've been using postimages.org for the past month, - works every time without any fuss.
