I go through fits and phases myself with posting and lurking. I lurk when I'm too tired or busy to post, but want to keep up on what's going on. Right now I've just started classes again so I'll less visible until my vacation again.
I understand the frustration of answering the same questions over and over. I blame that not just on how the forums are setup. This sadly has a lot to do with the software. I've moderated the same type of forum on another website, we used the same software (older version), and the search function was just as bad if not worse.
As one that worked in tech support for number of years, you get used to answering the same questions. It becomes habitual like eating.
Regarding the literate adults group. I'm all for it. Will membership require the citation of the complete book of Troy by Homer first to prove literacy?
