Getting Older :)
I was not sure where to post this as there are 3 different places I could have used.

While I still mainly use 2004, I am very interested in 2006 and TC and try to keep an eye on them :hehe: . I was just looking at something in both of them and noticed that my "Download Station Tab" only showed content going back to June 15, 2004.

Is this the case now and does anyone know why? I am sure it previously showed content prior to this. I can even remember the content that showed as the oldest, well I can not remember the name but it is not what is showing now.

Is this so and does anyone know why, if not why are my versions showing this.

Any help appreciated.

Craig

Tab ticks

My tab ticks seem to have been reversed! I also have 04, but previously used Trainz and UTC so they were all ticked and 2006 upwards were blank.
Now 2006 upwards are ticked and all boxes below are blank!

Most odd.

Several including myself have posted problems with CMP not showing some older content. Nobody ever explained it or figured it out.

Do you have copies of versions after '04 registered? Even if you use '04, if you own and registered '06/TC versions DLS will automatically check off the latest 2 you registered.

Hi SN,
Don't you mean the first two you registered will be checked off, IE. If you have Trainz, TUC, 2004 & 2006 registered, only 2004 & 2006 will show. Or have I totally misunderstood your reply, (my apologies if I have)
Cheers
Pete.

Thanks for the replies. I should have mentioned that it is within CMP and not on the DLS. The DLS is fine from my understanding, it only shows the latest versions, that is TC3, TC1 & 2 and 2006.

In CMP I am only seeing content in the Download Tab going back to June 15, 2004.

Exactly. I have UTC, TRS2004, TRS2006 and TC 1/2 registered, every time I login to DLS, TC 1/2 and TRS2006 are checked.

Same for all of us. I wonder why that date.

Apparently this is a bug in the web side of things and will be looked into.
Thanks Alan. Alan has also mentioned at the person to fix it is on Holidays so a little time to fix it.

It can be a frustrating problem for some people, particularly the newer members. Imagine downloading a layout and CMP tells you there are a lot of missing items and CMP does not know where they may be. When in fact they maybe on the DLS, its just that they are prior to your certain date in CMP .... June 15, 2004 for me. So people have to look for them a little harder  :(

Sadly Seeseeme, there's more and more routes on the DLS that CMP doesn't know where its depenendencies are, as they don't exist on the DLS, only third-party websites (yet the description for said routes/etc, makes no mention of this, nor the fact it may use (for example) payware content (spines, etc))
