I know the Illinois Railway Museum has a working 6 cylinder 38D in an H10-44, the predecessor of your H12; Milwaukee Road 760. I think they're about to close for the season though.

I called them about the possibility of recording it several months before I made a trip there, but unfortunately that wasn't able to happen due to their schedule. I don't think finding a running one is the problem, it's getting to one while it's running that is.

Oh, I forgot to post before, but I kind of hinted at it, I'd like to see the FM with the VGN electric being a close second. Actually they're about even for me, but the FM looks closer to release.

I'll take the Virginian E33 first, the Western Maryland 2-8-0 second, the FM third and U18B fourth. Also, how about a Virginian H-24-66 Trainmaster?
