Hey everyone, I finally got Trainz working again. Now I need inpsiration for a route! I really want to model something like a wooded Canadian route. Could someone tell me what elements would make a great route like this? I just don't know where to start. Be detailed! :)

Thanks!

James

How about this one:

It's not really in Canada, but it's a neat little RailRoad. If you have a copy of the August 2005 issue of Trains magazine (Page 30), there's an interesting article about the line and the locos they use.

They had a devestating flood there and really messed up the tracks, but I think they are working on repairing.

Here's another website about the short line:

Good luck on whatever you do!

Again, not in Canada, but you might want to try your hand at the Fort Bragg area of Northern California of Skunk Train fame. Fishlipsatwork put DEM terrain on the DLS with TIGER lines to help get you started. It has the additional advantage of being a Mecca for railfans. A Google search for "Fort Bragg" shouldn't yield more than 100,000 or so hits. It has historically been a popular vacation area, so there is ample non-rail info as well. You can find KUID 59012:100195 for the terrain.
