I have TRS06. I came to Georgia (USA) from Florida for some work. I will be here for a while, and I will buy a new computer before I leave. I left my original Trainz disc in FL. I bought a new one from Amazon just in case my new 'puter gets here. The "new" disc cost me $10.00. I did happen to have the info from my original TRS06 in my laptop bag. So if the one I bought "new" is a rip-off, could I still register my new TRS06 on a new computer using my existing set up (motorbreath)?

I'm not sure if it will work. I think you'd be better off getting a family member to mail you your original version. You wont have to send it express since you'll be in Georgia for a while and you wont have to worry about being ripped off either.

You might also consider the possibility that if the version you get is the full one (and no one has used it's serial number) that you might just want to register under that name anyhow. If no one has used it, the first class ticket will still be valid (which is worth the price of what you are paying alone). Somehow, I doubt it'll be brand new though (based on the price you are paying). You'll have to wait and see!

As you are able to log in, you will have access to your planet auran profile which includes your serial number. If you ever lose your serial number, you will still be able to retrieve it from within your profile.

If the disk is from Merscom and/or you bought it from Best Buy, it is a legal copy and the serial number with the disk will work.
