I know when I'm beaten...

Hi guys.,
I think I'm ready to surrender...

Please can someone let me know how to press the panic button?
I'm loosing such large chunks of my life trying to help my son with his problems and difficulties (relating to train sims) that I'm getting to the point where I can't really cope with it anymore.

Its a mystery where I can find the instructions that will help, and although over the years I've tried to hold it all together for him it's getting to the point now where I think we need a professional.

So, my question is this: Is it possible to employ someone to assist me? ...Someone that understands and can help with downloads, file saving, backups etc?
Would the person need to live locally and attend in person, or is it something that can be done via remote access?

If anyone has any shred of knowledge about how I can get the help that we need so badly, I'm willing to give it my best consideration.

We are at our wits ends here....

I would do so, but unfortunately I'm usually very busy during the day.

Have you had a read of my tutorial website (link is in the thread in my signature)? There are several bits of useful info in there.

There are lots of people who can help, and some of them may even live in proximity to you, but without more information, I'm can't say whether they'd need to visit or not, and a problem that might require one person having to visit, another might be able to solve via email or phone conversation. I understand downloads, file saving, and backups, but I can't get enough information in your request to make much help. For starters, 1) what version of Trainz are you running? 2), what problems are you having with file saving? And 3), what exactly are you trying to back up?

I can relate to Trainz becoming an obsession that interfers with normal life (I'm sure gonna miss my GF) Hee Hee.

Although I have TS10, I have no technical experience with it as of yet.

I have TRS2006 pretty much perfected with track laying and AI.

I don't even know what an IPad is, (I used to have a bachelor pad).

I will help you all I can, for free, and all it will cost you is a "buck 3 eighty" .

Trainz forum PM, YahooIM, or SkypeIM is OK with me.
