I just can't do it

I thought i was pretty smart until I tried to create my army train

I am trying to change a scenery item to a product or commodity so I can load them onto slatcars.
I tried to use the ccp but it won't let me do it
What I an trying to do is load jeeps and other millitary vehicles onto flatcars

jeep is 184151 436 4
ambulance is 477626 1019 1

I have been tying for about 2 weeks to put them on cars but can't seem to get it right...Your help is greatly welcomed

I think you'll need to clone the items and then change the cloned item to kind product. If the orientation of the item is not in the Y direction, they will show up crossway on the flatcar.

I have cloned the items and tryied to change the "kind" from scenery to product but it will not let me do it

I did the following to change the Jeep Vehicle to a product so it can be loaded on a traincar. Cloned Jeep <kuid2:184151:436:4> to Jeep <kuid:47907:1225>. 47907 is my Trainz Userid.
Opened kuid:47907:1225 for Edit in Explorer. Opened config.txt file in Notepad and deleted the following lines:

type "vehicle "
light 1
rotate 1
rotate-yz-range -180,180
kind "scenery"

Added these lines:

instance-type "resource"
product-category <kuid:-3:10042>
category-class "IC"
mesh-table
{
default
{
mesh "Jeep.IM"
auto-create 1
}
}
kind "product"

Saved and commited ok. I tried the product Jeep in a test set up that used a modified LARS IndustRail,<kuid2:69871:10001:3> in which I added kuid:47907:1225 as the 80th product. The Jeep loaded ok on FlatCarATSF93393ant <kuid2:56063:180608:2> but it is oriented crosswise on the flatcar.

I have tried my hardest to follow all instructions but still can't get them to load
I went in and changed everything like you did and all that happened was my entire product list was deleted I had to change it all back

Thank anyway but I guess I will have to live with what I have
