Thank you for the reply. Problem I have is when I select an item like grass or want to raise or lower ground height, it does nothing and I am in surveyor 2.0. What am I missing? What did I do wrong?
That's quite old. Your version should be 123794. You can upgrade within Trainz. I think it may take you to 119450 first. Then you'll need to update again. If this is the way it will update, you'll have to ignore the 2nd update step if that pops up while running the DBR and let the DBR finish first before doing the update again.
As always, make a backup first of your data and your program to a separate hard disk or location in case things don't go as planned.
