I have un-installed 2009 and I have reinstalled it and I have patched from 38411 to 40040 to 41844.
I have run as administrator and set firewall to allow trainz 2009, cmp and dls

Since I lost the route I was working on and all the content that I download from the dls, I had nothing to loose, so I have started again.

Hellol all,
Since doing all above, I have been able to download from dls to cmp without any problem. I don't know what I did, but it all seemed to be working

Glad you got things sorted out. Now you might consider moving to 2010. Much smoother and faster than 2009 (at least on my machine). Specs. in Post #39 above.

Sorry to bump in like that but i think i have the solution to this Limited-download-in-trs2006-thing.
No the Dowload ISNT Limited it is only limited 100bites,wait a day,then you are as free as a bird to download everything form the DLS.WARNING!!!Depending on FCT you get the amount of Time the ticket says.
(i will keep you updated once my Dad gives me more Info how to prevent the Brain Bashing and very annoying loss of contents when Re-installed)
