i cant view certain trains in railyard nycta r62 nycta overhauled r46 and more

By default, Trainz only shows favourites. In Railyard, click the yellow star and this should bring up all your assets.

Hope this helps

thanks alot ken and that didnt help but ill explain more i recently updated the patch from an older one to a new one thinking that would make the game work better and it actually changed some things like trains on the railyard list that are not there invisible and they were there before like i can seee them and turn on the lights and toot the horn and so forth now the trains not there just the name of the train on the list and also ceratin routes that ive used before were whole and now im missing tracks all i did was update patch nothing else as far as settings

Click on "Content" on the start dialog (The blue screen when you forst start Trainz). This takes you into Content Manager. Click on the little arrows on the "Search" panel on the left and set the following filters from the drop-down arrows next to the text boxes:

Location Local then click the "+" sign and in the next pair of boxes
Built in False (Click "False" form the drop-down arrow by the box and then click "+"
Faulty True

Click the Edit menu, click Select All, R-Click in the list, click Edit, Commit

For faulty built in assets, Location - Local, Faulty - True, Built-in - True, Select All, Edit, Revert to Original

It appears that the patch made some assets appear faulty when in fact they are not.

Hope this helps. If you still have problems, post again.

Ah, sorry. One thing I forgot to tell you, because I hoped it would not be necessary. But then I reread your second post, and you said you had patched. I missed that. After any patching to a higher build number, you should do an Extended Database Repair, which is simple, but time-consuming. To do this, open Content from the start screen agian, click on the file menu and then on Extended Database Repair. And then leave that running and go for a beer or two - it takes a while, which was why I hoped you could avoid having to do it.

Anyway, all things being equal, that should sort things out for you. If not, let us know. I'll keep my eyes on this thread and there are others on the forum who may have other suggestions.

Good luck.

Ken
