I can't open content manager.

When I try to open content manager I get this error message. The program can't start because d3dx9_42 is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Do I have to reinstall TS 12 completely or is there a quicker way. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Keith.

You do not need to reinstall TS12. What you need to do is to update your version of DirectX - see my DXInstallHelper thread in this forum for further info as well as a one-click tool to do it for you (if you prefer to update it manually, there's a link in that thread to my Updating DirectX 9.0C - How to do it thread.
