I can't get the trains to move in cab mode (I have Trainz 2006)

In cab mode I can't get the train to move. Could anyone help me with this? I'm new to playing this and my mom just got me the Trainz 2010.

In cab mode, you have to use the controlsinside the locomotive cabin to control it. Or, you can enable Num Lock on your computer keyboard, and use the number keys to drive the locomotive.

Anyway, welcome to Trainz! :wave: You should register your serial number by clicking the "Serial Number" button at the top of this page, and follow the directions. You serial number is also known as your CD key, and is the exact same code that you had to enter when installing Trainz.

Keyboard Commands vs Mouse

Try these keypad commands, and watch what handles how, and where, they move ... it will teach you how to move the levers.

F = Forward
R = Reverse
S = Stop
W = Increase Throttle
X = Decrease Throttle
A = Apply brake
Q = Release Brake
V = Sand
Z = Hand Brake
B = Bell
H = Horn
L = Light
; = Ditch Lights
P = Pause (there is no emergency brake Kpd key)

It helps to know what locomotive you are using. Steam or Diesel? Train brake off? Engine brake off? Reverser in forward or reverse? Apply throttle.
