I didn't even know what this was all about, and I had to look it up on the internet ... As I have dropped out of the world and society, and have gone living off the grid for a decade ... I never watch the News, and never watch TV programs as they are all too real and horrid ... Nothing but bad news on the TV and in the papers ... So I tune out of what happens in the world ... I still do not fully understand ... I am totally tuned out of current events, and haven't been keeping up to date for decades

I'm disgusted that in the 21st century that this sort of barbarianism can occur, even in a civilised society. The response has been excellent however. The displays of defiance from the people make it clear that we will never concede to the fanatics who are responsible.

It is unbelievable that 3 people messed up a whole Country ... just 3 individual radical people !
What would you think if 2,977 civilians were killed, by 21 attackers, commandeering and crashing 4 jetliners, taking down 2 skyscrapers, smashing a whole section of a major metropolis to smithereens, blowing up a Federal installation like the Pentagon ?
What would you expect would eventually happen, by cartoonists posting blasphemy and constant insults against a religion, depicting their GOD and Prophet: Removed link to inappropriate (pornographic) material

I don't mean to offend anyone, for it is a fact that at least 2,977 civilians were killed, there may have been more. However the events of 09/11 certainly do not stack up as neatly as the US Government would have us believe:

Sorry to all if this offends but...
cascaderailroad, For once, it's not about you, or Team America, but about the freedom to sometimes have a joke about things, even if that offends someone, somewhere. This paper has taken the pee pee out of ALL the different religions, not just one. What right does just one religion have to tell the rest of us what we can and cannot say and do, and do it in a way that kills people? Instead of hiding your head in the sand, cascaderailroad, you should maybe engage the rest of the world (Unless your hiding because of the Feds, :hehe: (btw, that's called a joke)).
