First of all keep all the people in your prayers who suffered and died in this tragic event.
I still shake the day after realizing we escaped a real close call if the typhoon would go straight towards Vietnam Laos and us i.o. going NNW.

I will, Roy. As somebody who got whacked pretty bad by Sandy, I know how mean nature can be, and this is beyond horrible. Take care, hope it doesn't reach you and, for future reference for folks caught in a hurricane/tornado/typhoon, whatever you do, DO NOT go outside during the storm for any reason. A guy down the street died because he tried to move some branches at the tail end of the storm and a tree fell on him. Edit: Oh, yeah, and these so-called "widowmakers" (branches weakened by storms or rot) kept falling some weeks after the storm, so don't think things are really safe once the hurricane is over.
