i have a question

i am useing a hump yard at one of my train terminals . i usually accelerate to 10-14 mph to get it going down the hill. but for some reason it wont uncouple sometimes. its strange .? am i doin something wrong?

also if i accidently couple locomotives at the end of my consist by accident , which then i have a set of locos at the end of my train that i did by mistake, i lose all the commands that i had put on that loco to do .it just all dissapears? any way to bring it back?

If you are using T12 the "kick" feature is problematic, it works and then it does not. However if you uncouple on top of your hump and then reverse you trains direction, your uncoupled car(s) should free roll downward into your hump bowl. The "Uncouple At Trackmark" rule only works in the session that you are currently driving, it will not save to a drive session in T12.

aha, i have a flat spot i start to roll my cars and then they slow down and start down the hill, if uncoupling and pulling back will let them roll i will just make the down hill longer and earlier then it will work fine , i will try check out the uncouple command thank u . i was getting frustriated at the randon non rolling of my cars

Flat kicking can also be an issue, which is kind of a shame. Hopefully the sticky couplers will eventually get fixed.
