Just downloaded these signals and tested them in 2010. Seem to work fine as far as I can see and no errors. I'm using compatibility mode but that's odd that they don't work for you Fred. When was the last time you did a database repair? I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but when trainz started acting weird for me, I know this helped.

Thanks mates! I'll give it a try. They are rather unique signals which are still in use on the Metro-North Hudson Line. It would be a shame to lose them.

Cheers,
Fred

Yeah they really are cool looking signals, maybe JR down the road will make these since they plan on releasing a bunch of custom signals. You never know...

Keep up the great work!

Unfortunately that's not so. These where the signals Metro North once used.

These signals on all three East of Hudson lines were replaced in the mid to late 90s with these.

The Metro North West of Hudson still use the you have, however that side is operated by the NJ Transit.

Although that may be true...if you have been following this thread, you will realize that this layout is temporally ambiguous. There are many details that I have included that are no longer there. There are some that are. So whether it's so, or not so, matters little to me. I'm having fun. How about you? :D

Cheers,
Fred

Been Meaning to ask you, How Far North does your Map go Fred? I'm thinking My Ulster & Delaware will Have Kingston yard, And Probably Head down to Highland. And Saugerties or Catskill In the Other Dirrection. Which Would mean I'd Have From.... Hudson to... Uhh... Poughkeepsie on the other side of the river.

Depending on what you already have, But I need to connect the U&D to the NYC, or my Idea's for sessions won't work right.

This is Part I of the route. The southern end of the map starts at Tompkins Cove Power Plant (which was demolished a couple of years ago) at Stony Point. It extends to Highland Falls, near West Point, on the north end. Part II will begin where this one leaves off and go from West Point to Bannerman's Castle. I'm currently working on some model buildings for Iona Island and fiddling around in Peekskill.

Cheers,
Fred

P.S. I've been toying with the idea of installing IPortals at the north end of both shores of the Hudson on Part I and at the south end of Part II. I confess I've never tried using them, so I don't know how well they work. I've been thinking they might be used for online sessions. One person would control operations on the south map. Another would run things on the north. Consists could be sent from one map to the other via the IPortals. Hmmmmm...might be fun...

Aha, Sounds Like a Plan. And Yes, The I-portal isn't all too hard to set up. I'd Find It Intresting to Operate the Water Level route Online. You Could, Depending On Number Of Tracks where the Maps Split, Name them "RL NB & RL SB" And "WL NB & WL SB" Or add Numbers if there are more, I know the Water Level side had 4 tracks at one point, Not sure which Era Your Modeling with this.

Let Me know If theres Anything with the modeling Part I can help with. I Do Live there....I mean, Here.

Cheers, Chris

Sick & Feeling the Urge to Throw Up, I stumbled back here searching for a photo of my beloved U&D #34, To see That I left you hangin! I read that earlier on and Forgotten, Guess It'll be Two Tracks. I'll have to see once I start If & How I can Just Kinda duct-tape the U&D onto your En devour. :hehe: Can't Wait To see More, I'll Be Heading Into the Beyond Soon, Kingston Model RR Club Soon, Train Show In Poughkeepsie, I'll have to check up and compare it to the valley, See how realistic it looks... ;)

Again, The Route Looks Stunning. I'd Go Insane Trying To Do this (I had finished 1 Mile between Saugerties, NY & Catskill, NY Once...)

Cheers!
