That is an epic shot Fred, I love it! I have saved that and will use for my desktop background and maybe do some photo editing to it. ;)

This route is BEAUTIFUL. I railfan this line in Kingston and Selkirk and have been on the train all the way down to New York. Let me say, this route is so incredible. I absolutely cannot wait for the release and would be THRILLED to test it for you!!

Thanks, James! I would certainly be interested in someone familiar with the area to test it when it's ready. Heck...I haven't been to Peekskill since 1969. I do, however, have an enormous amount of research material on the route. This is a huge project as you should know. I'm planning on releasing it in two parts. Part 1 runs from just south of Peekskill to just south of West Point. Part 2 will go from West Point to Bannerman's Castle. Part 1 is about half way done. So it's coming along...

Cheers,
Fred

I'm sorry Jim. I won't do that. I agree that my post was rude...so is thinking that you can use a thread for political and social commentary. Like I pointed out in my post...it poisons the water. It's nothing personal Jim. I like you and admire your work.

Actually, I didn't tell you to shut up. I quoted a column in the latest issue of Trains magazine. But...ok...fair enough.
