Splines are horrible in 2009 for me. They show through things that are placed in front of them all the time. As a rule, I never use them.

Agreed, Alex. They don't work well in Trs2009.

This isn't quite the same size as the original (1680 x 1050), but it's close.

For Mick.
The whole enchilada...

I'm using TS10. By "don't work too well" what do you mean? The criscrossing and all I've been doing fine with those. It's just the constant flickering that detracts from the realism, even though they're placed a good forty to fifty feet away from the track.

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

I'm not sure...but that sounds like the "limiter" that's built into the Trs2010 code. I don't use it myself. Sorry.

Cheers,
Fred

Something about this route just makes one want to start up the Trainz drivable motorboat, and go out and watch Trainz from the middle of the river cab viewpoint. Very cool route !

I have seen that screenshot like four times now and every time it still takes my breath away. Very good shot. :D

Cheers,
Adam

Thanks all!

I've always been more interested in what Trainz should be able to do rather than what it has been able to do. I understand the business reasons why certain programming decisions have been made. That approach, however, is not mine. After all...this is not my business...it's my hobby.

I haven't gotten to the good part yet. So...stay tuned. :)

Cheers,
Fred

Zorronov,

Your screenshots of your Hudson River route are simply amazing. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to more.

Thanks, mates!

Zorronov: When will this be released!?!? I absolutely cannot wait to run this. If you want testers, I would THRILLED to do it for you. Just saying..... since the River Line is my home route. I have photos from all over Milton and north from Kingston, Selkirk etc, so if you need some, just ask, I'll see what I have. Again I'm thrilled!

And also, what track is that?

Fantastic as always Fred. :) I really like the weathering on the F7 (I'll have to pick that up one of these days).

Keep 'em coming and keep up the great work!
