How Was This Allowed By N3V?

Россия сказала, что? Трудности перевода

One of the main problems with google translate is you try to translate something like "shed" and the equivalent word either doesn't exist or means something else in the other language. I generally copy and paste the output back in to reverse the translation just to make sure I'm not saying "Your sister is a big beautiful tractor factory" but even then there are no guarantees.

We're all adults here ... or soon to be (I refuse to grow up) I'm sure they can't review each and every minute detail.

There is a house smack dab in the middle of the tracks on the Harlem Line ... and Lamp Post Linda is all over the place on my route (really ... gotta edit her out of the scheme of things).

I remember seeing that house and thought it was something wrong with my Trainz 2009 at the time. I was pretty amazed about the placed objects on the Harlem Line to say the least.

Jeez! Does it really matter, from the time we are very young and mix with other kids we know what it means, and we have all used the expression 'Oh ****!' at times. I wish that people would stick to Trainz matters and not try to mould the users and the game into their personal strait-laced view on life.

If that particular asset offends you, just delete it.

Peter

I am not at all offended by it, It was just questionable why it would be in there? To be quite honest, I am actually very amused by it. :)

hmm thats weird that same name of the offending object is on my game as well,I don't think it was suppose to say that,I don't use it but I did find it questionable for why that happened!

With over 250,000 items to use, you had to fine this one?

I agree it's a bit amusing, but who cares. I remember when people got into a snit when someone put a strip club in a UK-style building. This was back in TRS2004 days, and along came Lamp post Linda at the same time. These items were quickly pulled from the DLS at the time. It's too bad because they were both excellent assets, and reflected real life in many places.

Lamp Post Linda (<kuid:67261:35037>) is still available, in CM at least, and the building wouldn't be <kuid:53695:26011>, would it? I was horrified when I saw it in Content Manager, as a dependency for a route while I was looking for faulty dependencies to fix.

Kieran.

Hmm... I thought that was one of those words that has become acceptable. I may be wrong, I haven't heard it on the "Daily Show" yet. I have heard many forms of "piss", pissed off, pissing contest, etc. Oh, poo, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that. When I take the odd look at "you tube" (however ya spell it), there always seems to be a butt load of swearing in the comments. I swear all the time, but there is no one listening. It's nice that I don't have to see it in the forums, I'm sure it would cause many fights.

Finally got some snow last night. Now I have to get the f-ing shovel out, hook up the f-ing plow to the f-ing ATV and get rid of the f-ing snow. Ah, the F word, I can't seem to get through the day without it!

Cheers.....Rick

Try using the Irish version of the word (just switch an e for a u).

There is even a whiskey called: Feckin' Irish Whiskey.

Thank you Irish, I'll try it out. I always thought I had an Irish name (Reid), turned out to be Scottish. Boy, when I found that out, it fecked my whole day up!

Cheers to you my friend........Rick
