how to use a PS3/360 controller for PC (and trainz)

first you must have a sixaxis/360 controller

second watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6EWxxQfB_Y
now after you get the download and did what the video did,the controller should work (note this is a PS3 only video,not a 360)

third also download this http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey English Version.htm its at the bottom page

fourth go to control panel>game controllers>and pick PLAYSTAION(R)3 and click properties
now click a button,say square,and then the button number will flicker. (in other words,if you click sqaure,the number 16 should flash)

now remember that number and open the application "joy to key"

now click "create" on the bottom left and name it trainz

now you got a full list of buttons. (ex: button 1,2,3,4) now remember that sqaure number (if you frogot its 16)

so double click button 16

and it will ask to make it a mouse or a keyboard,so for now click keyboard

now on the yellow area,and put the letter 'W" (NOTE!! you dont have to W for square,you make it for the D-pad to)

now leave the application DO NOT CLOSE IT OR ELSE IT WONT WORK

now lauch trainz,once you use a train,in surverveyour and you hold sqaure,the train will start to move!
