How to raise the height of a cab?

I have just replaced the ugly looking cabs from the QR EMU DT and QR IMU DT with PEV's EMU and SMU cabs, only to find out that the cab isn't at the right height
What do I need to add to the config to raise the height of the cab? Not to the config file for the cabs itself I mean for both QR EMU DT and QR IMU DT

If the Loco mesh is an .IM file
open it in IM Editor, go to Attachment points
find a.cabfront, right click Edit Point, change position
go to the Z value and try 1.5m higher
enter and save then add the loco to Trainz

.PM for both QR EMU & IMT DT units

I tried using PEV's attachment maker, added the a.cabfront attachment and it didn't work at all, even though I did add the attachment to the mesh-table in the config files and had no errors. I decided to open the .PM files in Notepad ++ and searched for a.cabfront which is already within the model. I'm not sure how I am supposed to open it and somehow raise the height of the attachment for the model??
