How to join Trainz 09' Beta?

Go to www.ts2009.com and find a shiny big button that says "Join the Beta" 
Actually it might say "Pre-order now to join the beta", but its a big button.
You'll also see information about World Builder Edition and Engineers Edition.
Once you have pre-ordered you will get a download link, a Beta serial number and instructions how to enter bugs for the Beta.
Please remember also that the purpose of a Beta is to help us find bugs. It's not simply a free trial.
Have fun and happy testing.

how fast of a computer & ram will i need to run trs09

I have an old AMD 2100 Athlon PC that I mainly use for downloading. I downloaded TRS2009 Beta1 on this computer.
I decided to install it on this computer to see if it would run on it.
To my pleasant surprise with the settings turned down a little, (from the default settings) it runs it well...
The PC has 2 gigs of DDR2-800 ram and a nvidia FX 5200 video card.
If your spec's are that or better, it will definitely run it. It wouldn't surprise me if it would run OK/well on even lower spec'ed PC's. (If your current PC is running TRS2004 & TRS2006 well, I don't see any reason why it won't run TRS2009). Not with what I have seen so far...
Naturally the better spec'ed PC you have, the more you will be able to "turn up" the "settings" in TRS2009 and the more smoothly it will run.
Note; Before I run Trainz, I disconnect the internet. Then I turn off/stop everything that's running in the background that not essential, including A/V & firewall. (keep A/V & firewall "on" if using CMP/downloading)...

sounds goods,, looks like my pc will run it teh only thing i will need to do
is up grade my ram, I only have 512 ram,, but i think my computer has a 256 ram on the video caard
