How to import content?

Still here... lurking
Hi. I recently installed TS10 and I was wondering how to import content from TS2009. I tried doing it but they do not show up in Railyard. I was wondering if it is possible to import ALL my content and local content into TS10.

You need to copy the JAs from TS2009 into TS2010.

First rename the JAs to TS09-x where x = 1 to whatever. This will ensure you have added them and not overwritten the TS2010 ones.

Copy these JAs to the same place TS2010 has them installed.

Go to Content Manager and run an Extended Database Repair.

Now I can't remember if you need to add in your '09 serial number to the same place where the TS2010 serial number is added in the Options tab in the Launcher. This is true of TS12 so I might be wrong. If not then you're okay.

You will only need the ones from the builtin folder - be aware you will need to add the relevant serial number under the Trainz Options box.

Ok, I did what John said, then added the serial. When EDR finished, it said that multiple assets were found in multiple locations. Others said they can't be found. What am I doing wrong?

Okay, I'm committing EVERY SINGLE open for edit asset which will probably help show all my content. Update to come.

*UPDATE* All of them had finished committing and some of the assets do not show up. All my cloned items show their original names as well.

You Know, I have done just exactly what Ray Wiley has Asked..Make them into CDP..Open CM and Import CDP..It has worked for me..
