Description:
Coca Cola Delivery Truck. Will drive on roads if placed in config of map. Freeware [/TD]

Hi dust25,
The quick answer is to import the .cdp file into TS12 by going to "File, Import CDPs..." in Content Manager 3.7. (Top left menu bar.)
Content Manager will install and commit the file to TS12 assuming it finds no errors or problems with the asset.
In Surveyor, open the Route (map) to which you'd like to apply the asset.
Go to the location you'd like to place the delivery truck initially.
Find the now installed asset in the track-side objects tab. (Use the drop-down combo box to locate the asset by name.)
Highlight the name of the asset and left-click the Plus button to add the asset to the map in the spot desired. (Presumably this will be on a suitably traffic-capable road...)
If the asset is configurable, then generally it is possible to so simply by selecting the object concerned in Surveyor ("Get Object, G") and then left-clicking the "?" (question mark, or "Define Name") icon to access the settings applicable for that object.
Where the asset creator has additional, special instructions for configuring that asset for use in your own maps, heed and apply them.
Sometimes (but rarely) you need to make parameter changes to the actual config.txt file for dependent assets to get them to play nicely/ work properly in a given scenario.
Hope this answers some or all of your question so far...

i can put them in my game but how do i get them to move? what do i have to put in the config.txt?
It's the region you have to change, not the road vehicle. Zatovisualworks has a guide on making a region which should help you either make your own or modify an existing one.

Kieran.

I have it working in one of my routes in TRS 2012. All I had to do is add the vehicle kuid to the config. files for both the Region for that route and the route itself.

so what do i do take the config file from the car. i want to add and just copy and past it in the map config.or what or send a config tuot how to do it?
