When I use TrainzDEM to create a route, after I create the files and exit TRainzDEM, but before I import the folder into TRS2019, I manually change the kuid number in the config file from 465774:2xxxx to 465774:8xxxx using Windows Explorer. I do this to avoid conflict with my 2xxxx series of assets. TrainzDEM does not allow me to use kuids other than 20000 to 20999 when generating the files for the route.
When I import the folder of files into CM, it works fine except that then I have one or more unknown assets in the route. CM shows them as:
Name = <unknown asset>
Status = blank
Asset ID = <kuid:126773:2xxxx>
Author Username = geophil
Installation Date = blank
Upload Date = blank
Type = blank
And as you would expect this causes the route name to show red with missing dependencies. This wouldn't be a concern except that I usually merge the TrainzDEM created routes into one of my existing routes, which then causes that route to show red with missing dependencies. Unfortunately, in CM I have been unable to delete these.
Any solution to allow me to delete unknown assets?
