How to create relistic rivers?

In surveyor? Or how to dynamically adjust your water height so it's more a river than a lake? Thanks guys.

Well maybe if anyone knows a great Surveyor tutorial away from just laying track (already got one of those), that would be even more appreciated.

Trainz rivers can not go uphill. You must make non-adjoining water segments with rocks, dams, waterfalls, and such to separate varied heights of flat water.

Alot of rivers are only a couple meters deep ... some Trainzers cut hugely overly deep river channels.

There are quite a few water splines on the dls which can link different levels.

Gfisher has some great river splines that look like the TRS water.
