As everyone probably knows by now, I am not that smart with things related to Trainz, and I'm sure this has been answered before, but how should I properly back up all of my Trainz content, as I have not had a Fatal Trainz crash, I just want to be prepared.

Simple really. You can either back up the content in Content Manager using right-click > Save to CDP or right-click > Archive, or you can back up the <trainz install folder>/UserData folder to a safe location.

Thank you Shane, I have one more question, say Trainz did fatally crash, and I re-install it, how would I put all the backed up content into Trainz? I assume just replace the current UserData folder with the backed up one?

That is one of the methods, yes. If you do it that way though, you will need to do an extended database repair in Content Manager for it to pick up the content. Alternatively, you can use the Import Content feature.
