How do you use Matlin Hump Yard?

I cannot get the humpyard to work in 2009. I have downloaded the scenario matlin hump setup, and when I click on the hump tower with the question mark in objects I get a blank box. Is there something else I need to have on in the edit session box to get this to work??

I don't have TRS09 (lost it in a reformat) so I don't know much about the specifics, but as a general rule in a humpyard you pull a train to the top of the hump and release the cars one at a time and use the switches to send the cars to their proper tracks.
Is there more to this one than that?

Hi

I believe there are some issues with the hump yard kit operating in TRS2006 and TC so presumably these will have continued with TRS2009. See this thread for more information.

You may have to register to access the forum but it is free and there are other threads giving information regarding the humpyard kit.

According to the TPR forum the thread you linked to does not exist.
EDIT: Scratch that, it seems to be working now.

No problem with Humptower in 2009

Hello guys

I have just downloaded Matlin humpyard and the only problem I had was that the Humptower was missing in surveyor for some reason. I installed the humptower section and set up the switches and the route works just fine.
I think the humptower should be moved a little bit farther away from the yard so the cars have more speed entering the yard, but that's just my opinion.
I also like the older version of the speed retarders they seem to work very well. I have three different humpyard routes and they all work fine in 2009.
I don't set up the forwarding section of the humpyard switches because I'm to old to figure out that feature of the humpyard setup.
I have been using this great feature ever since Lars made it up for us.
It sure is a fine piece of programming.
