How does one fix the error called "Faulty: inyo b2" Its on all the good looking old timer steam locos...Comes up with this stuff here:

Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported.
Error: Texture 'engine_black.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'ury21_b2.im'.
Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.

Sometimes an asset works with warnings and errors ... is there a txt file named: engine_black.texture, that says inside: Primary=engine_black.texture.tga ... and is there an image in the folder named: engine_black.texture ... sometimes you need to create a thumbnail image ... and make sure the thumbnail information/sizes is written in the config file.

I have no idea what happens when you increase the trainz-build line to a higher build ... try cloning it and experiment on the clone

Quite a lot of Ben Neal's content will have that error. I just make a copy of one of the .TGA files and rename it engine_black.tga. That works for me.

Try going into another engine and copy one of its .tga files and paste it in inyo b2 folder. Then, rename the .tga engine_black but keep the .tga. save and commit.

I have the same problem with the Inyo and am trying to come up with a solution. If anyone has any tips please let me know. Thank you.

If the trainz build for the asset is lower than 2.5 the format and data in config.txt may be different ..

Earlier builds may have errors in the config.txt that will require fixing one at a time.

If you have Andi06's AssetX doing all this is very easy. A lot of it is automated and can be done with a single mouse click. AssetX is a multi tool-box that takes a little time to learn but once you have mastered some of it the rest is easy. AssetX can be opened directly from TS12 content manager.
