Yes, elementary question I know but it's going to take an hour of searching these forums to find the answer. Can someone please point me at it?

Edit your version to the way you want it to be.

Open Content manager

High lite your item

Right click

Click on create new version.

Comit.

Upload to DLS

Depending on what the item is, you may want to reduce that build number to something lower - probably whatever the original build number was, so that anyone with versions of Trainz before TS12 can use it...

The exception to this would be if it is a route or session.

I can't actually see any of your content on the DLS, so are you sure you mean update?

It's a session, and a multiplayer one at that.

The session name is A & SLT Multiplayer Industry AI Sandbox, kuid:441662:100002. According to my CM it's on the DLS, and it must be available somehow because I've run it on the server and someone has joined it. The session mostly works as-is, the update will fix an omission from an AI driver (Alcaron) command sequence, replaces driver Giro56's Southern Pacific loco 8644 that apparently doesn't load in multiplayer, and derailment realism has been set to None, which hopefully switches off derailments, as one can get airborne in places on this route while observing the speed limit.

OK - my comment about build 3.4 is off the mark. That would be the correct build for multiplayer. It may be that it's just not visible on the black pages DLS. Timberdv's instructions should be spot on...

The upload server spat it out complaining that it didn't have a thumbnail. Should there have been a thumbnailing step in those instructions or must I have done something wrong? (The original upload had the full complement of two thumbnails.)

With TS2010 MP assets, Build number 3.4. They do not show up on the DLS but do show up in CM. I dont know why this happened but that is how it is. As for the thumbnail if you create new session off a route it doesnt include a thumbnail you must add it to the session. Right click the route in CM and "view config" it will show you the code for adding a thumbnail copy that to your session config. Dont forget to paste/add the picture to the session folder.

I've already created and uploaded the session, with thumbnails, all I'm trying to do now is update it. The update process keeps failing for want of thumbnails, even when CM tells me I've added them. I'll have another go in a few weeks' or months' time, once my patience-with-undocumented-software level rises back above zero.
