How do I place a trigger

I place ed a Trigger (same as a marker) but hoe do I get it to work.
I would like to activate another loco as my loco passes the trigger.

Any help would be most appreciated

You will need the Wait for Trigger driver command available on the DLS (from what I remember).

Once done, you select the trigger you want to use.
