Hey guys.
I have Trainz classics and i wanted to move some of the content over to my trainz 2010 game.

I select the content i want and then right click and press Save to CDP but then it comes up saying ( you cannot save to CDP because it is a built in item)???
i also tryed archive but the same thing happen

How do i do it?
Thanks

 Hi

The best way i have found is to open TC CM select all content you need then open for edit then minamize,
Then open TS2010 CM then from the menu slect import content direct it to TC editing folder.
Once the items are installed to TS2010 you can CTRL+R the items you have open in TC CM.

Hope this helps.

Hi
Thanks
But i cant find the actual folder with the assets in it??
I went through all the folders and couldn't find it??
Cheers

HI

If you have installed TC in to C/progams/Auran/TC then Look in the TC folder for the editing folder.
when you open for edit it will open all the content into this folder.

Hi,

Go to TS2010's CM, go to (Install location)/User Data/Editing and use the Import Content feature, and have it pointing to that location, to import everything from TC3. Just make sure all the TC3 stuff is open for editing first. Then have fun fixing the erros in TS2010, unless you use Comatibility mode, which I don't have, because I use the Multiplayer patch.

Your best option would be to buy the SnC add on pack as everything is fixed for TS2010.

Just 3 minutes late with my response.

Hi
I am also curious im wanting to also move the CHN trainz from ts 2012 to ts 2010 it is possible apparently. I did it the same as above ^^^
But when i launch the game in my route i scroll down to the train to put it on the track but it wont select the train detail ( the writing ) is red and i cannot select it.
What can i do to fix this?

Thanks ! :)

Can you just save to a cdp and reopen it in 10? I don't know but I find this topic interesting cuz it won't be long til I'm asking the same question...
