How do i make objects move

how do I make objects move. I want to make a static Ford Angela move but I don't know how. plz help!

Do you mean putting it on the roads to roam or just freely animating like moving from A to B? The former is possible with some work on road config, the latter no.

Ohh. I think this requires making the car into a "locomotive" asset and giving it an appropriate config file. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help you. In the meantime, may I suggest checking this out?

once I heard about this trainz file which makes static things on rails simple and I forgot what it was called so I made this thread up to see if anybody still remembered

Drivable cars are essentially trains and they run on invisible track that is placed on a road, or on a type of road that really is a track. (confusing I know).

Look for the super adapter, or something like that. You can then turn anything into a movable asset, however, it is not drivable, it's just able to move on the roads like a normal Trainz automobile.

this is an invisible object with many attachment locations that you can attach most any trainz object to and drive it as you would a train.

It is on the DLS..I just checked
AH...Maybe register your version of Trainz.

Yup, register Trainz by going to http://www.auran.com/ then signing into Planet Auran (same UN and PW as here), and then go to the Serial Number tab on the left side of the page.

Also, in Content Manager, press Alt + F7 and in one of those tabs add your UN and PW, and also do it in one of the tabs in Options on the Launcher.

Then you should be able to download content.
